Author Stephanie Marrero, LCSW is a Latina born and raised in Springfield, MA who pursued a career in Social Work after having struggled with Depression and Anxiety most of her life. As a devout Christian having experienced significant hardships in many domains of her personal life, Stephanie learned to not lean on her own understanding, but to seek peace in God as those same experiences became the testimony fueling her ability to therapeutically support individuals of all ages and help them reach their goals.
Self-proclaimed “Healer-Dealer” Stephanie has experience within a range of CBHI community programs, community connections working towards wellness, facilitation of several psychoeducation groups for all ages and co-founded “Evelyn’s Books Program” alongside her husband, David in 2017. Stephanie has published two books focused on age-appropriate psychoeducation for kids, in hopes to support youth in finding their voice and becoming their best advocate.
